Trakai, Lithuania

We have just gotten back from London but before moving on to the UK posts, I'd like to squeeze in a little Trakai trip just in case anyone is considering going there

When we asked locals (and later my Instagram followers) for one place they'd recommend visiting, everyone agreed on Trakai. So that was where we headed for the day after the breakfast at our hotel.
I do not have that many proper photos from there as it was way too hot to be walking around with a camera but I'd still like to share a few phone snaps.
The place is beautiful indeed; however, expectedly enough, overly crowded like all popular tourist attractions, especially on a warm day... which only happens to be a good excuse to get in a boat and escape from the crowds to enjoy some peace and get some tan on!
Do bring a man along to do the hard work.
This is what the place would have looked like from above had I had a drone.
You can easily go around the castle in under an hour, occasionally stopping to enjoy the picturesque views along the way.
Or in order to grab some photos.
My dress in all possible colours can be found here, here or here; worn with Ray-Ban sunnies, Kayu bag and ASOS mule loafers.
And when you get hungry- there is a plenty of cute places all around; nothing posh but with surprisingly delicious food.
So grab a bite and enjoy the view!
