Those of you who have been following me from the beginning will remember my chubby two-year-old. Guess what? The kid turned 7 yesterday!
His Birthday fell on a school day this year so we decided to hold a little pre-birthday picnic this past weekend. St. James park seemed like a perfect spot especially that I am mentally preparing to say "goodbye" to London very very soon.
Spring has generally been cold in London this year and even beginning of June has hardly felt like Summer so far; you can tell I've been craving some sunshine!
Since we were spending the day outdoors, my recent natural wood timepiece from Woodwatches came in handy, just to feel one with nature. As a huge fan of woody notes (Voyage d'Hermès has got to be one of my favourites perfumes), I must say it smells lovely too.
As for white colour, I decided not to limit ourselves to outfits only and brought along my most luxurious white bed cover whose (yes, you can totally use "whose" referring to inanimate objects, I had to google this one!) fate is now in the hands of our local dry cleaning company.
The cheeky Birthday boy found this whole all-white set up to be boring and suggested we added some colour in the form of his favourite Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Seemed fair to me...
There were some home made chicken wings too but they weren't as photogenic, you know...
Something you can't say about my best friend Daria who joined us for celebration!
And because we only have that many pictures together, I totally took the advantage of this now grown up gentleman and got him to take one.
Then it was pretty much all cuddling and eating and playing with his new toys for the rest of the afternoon.
The light was just beautiful that day so there were lots of photographs too. It was definitely a day to remember!
I wore Topshop crop top and shorts, River Island hat, Louis Vuitton tote bag and Soludos espadrilles on that day.
And the watch is Natural Green from from Fieldcrest Series.
