Vida Na Praia: Cascais
Thank you for such a warm response to my previous post, guys! I want to make it less about me/fashion this time around and tell you a little bit about the trip itself or our first day in Portugal in this case.
Most of those who have been following me for longer time have probably gained from some of the indirect posts that I am not together with the Father of my son, for nearly three years now, to be precise. Nevertheless, a big part of my boy's family lives in Portugal. We have only been there once in 2010 when he was two years old so if some of you may remember that trip, he certainly didn't. It was about time I took him back to say 'Olá' to his Portuguese/Angolan Cousins, Uncles and Aunties.
We'd just returned to London from Estonia when this trip came up so after re-packing the suitcases during a sleepless night, we have arrived to Lisbon the next morning, looking rather messy! First things first, we headed to Colombo to get it taken care of.
By the time I was done with my beauty fix too (hairdressers, manicures and all these things are [relatively] inexpensive in Portugal so it only made sense to take the advantage of it whilst there), it was already an early evening. Fresh and revived we finally made our way somewhere a little more exciting- a beach; Cascais in particular.
