Moving In, Moving On
As some of you already know I've recently moved homes, hence the silence on the blog. It took a while to find a perfect place but it was worth it: the new house has got a totally different look and feel comparing to where I lived before and it's exactly the change I was after. Below are some fragments and details although I'm nowhere near being done with the decoration so it's pretty much Zara Home— White Company— antique shops trips for me lately.
Beautiful antique chandeliers instead of halogen fixtures? Yes please.
Part of the bedroom. Wooden floors over laminate flooring? I'll take it. And no, I don't own a bird or plan to own one but of course that insignificant fact did not stop me from getting a bird cage, I will later decide what for.
You can never have enough of baskets, boxes and other occasional storage, can you?
We all know I've got a thing for MK watches. Waiting for another one to arrive to my collection soon.
Newly received Zara Home bedding and another chandelier— yes, even toilet lighting has to be pretty.
Wearing MAC nail lacquer in 'Muscle' shade— a recent find and an absolute favourite out of nudes by far as it has got an actual beige tone to it instead of the pinky one like most do.
A "just-because-it's-pretty" purchase from Tallinn's Stockmann in the form of a snake skin box, later adopted to fit my camera and its accessories. It did come handy, see Mum?
It was either a short getaway tickets booked or a beautiful bed quilt: this Zara Home quilt has clearly appeared as a wiser investment. I might have been out of my mind but no regrets.
My love for wrap dresses undoubtedly continues, here wearing a nude version from ASOS petite collection with a pair of heeled Zara sandals.
I've always been rather indifferent towards perfumes but somehow managed to collect quite a few bottles over the past couple of years most of them being gifts from friends and family. I'm so easy to please in terms of fragrances and will wear almost anything. From left: Valentino "Rock 'n Rose", Giorgio Armani "Acqua Di Gioia", Dior "Miss Dior Cherie", D&G "3 L'Impératrice", Marc Jacobs "Daisy" and Hermes "Voyage".
I am yet to decide on the storage for my clothes and shoes and going extreme between exposed rails and shelves or chunky antique cupboards and chests of drawers. One thing I know for sure is that I want to keep my stuff to minimum so I have already divided everything in three piles keep / sell / donate and will be listing lots of new things in my shop once I've got the time.
Happy Valentine's Day!
