an update: me and my friend are both wearing ASOS dresses
Here it is, my photodiary from yesterday night as promised. I guess the pictures speak for themselves but it was indeed very fun night, one of those that remind me why I love this city.
The exhibition itself met my best expectations with its fresh and beautiful work while the artist, Mr. Thierry Guetta, was lovely enough to pose for the pictures and talk to the guests the whole night. Although the entrance was by invitation only, it did get quite crowded after a while but the atmosphere was still very warm, relaxed and homelike to leave too early. I'm totally glad I went, not only did I get a whole bunch of material for my research on Pop Art trend for the uni, but also had the best time with my closest people.
To continue the night we headed over to the much-talked-about "The Sketch" for dinner, and oh well, the verdict is, it's probably a great place for drinks but not so much for food! We weren't impressed with the kitchen, unlike the interior that the place is famous for. Do the cool toilets make up for the rubbish dishes? Maybe!
P.S. Thanks to the friends at the Opera Gallery for the invite.
P.P.S. The exhibition is open to the public from today, the 6th of October. If you are in Central and got some spare time it's well worth checking out!
